Dr. Do Eon-rok, the lead director of 1mm Plastic Surgery,
attended the 16th Oculoplastic Surgery Research Society Academic Symposium in 2024.
The Oculoplastic Surgery Research Society Academic Symposium is
a large-scale academic conference dedicated to the intensive research and development in the field of oculoplastic surgery.
It serves as a platform for domestic and international plastic surgeons to gather and share academic achievements, research findings, and techniques related to oculoplastic surgery among members.
During this symposium, Dr. Do Eon-rok gave a presentation on the topic of
‘eyelid lifting (sub-brow lift) through sub-brow incision’.
He received a great response from attendees by elaborating on methods to maximize the lifting effect of the anterior part of the double eyelid by extending the incision towards the front of the eyebrow, and techniques to prevent eyebrow ptosis through manipulation of the depressor supercilii muscle.
Moving forward, 1mm Plastic Surgery will continue to
strive for further advancement with the goal of intensive research and development in the field of oculoplastic surgery.
