Chief Director Do Eon-rok of 1mm Plastic Surgery attended the 2024 APS, an international academic conference hosted by the Korean Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and the Korean Association of Plastic Surgeons, where he presented research and participated in discussions.
The APS 2024 conference was held from April 6th to 7th at the Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas Hotel. APS, an acronym for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, is one of the largest aesthetic plastic surgery conferences held in Korea and a globally recognized international academic event where plastic surgeons from various fields worldwide gather to discuss diverse academic and research findings and share the latest technologies.
Chief Director Do Eon-rok presented and discussed ‘Customized aesthetic eyelid surgery with combining various eyelid procedures’ to domestic and international plastic surgeons attending the APS 2024 conference. The discussion included Chief Director Do Eon-rok and two other prominent Korean eyelid surgery experts. They engaged in questions and discussions on topics such as combining surgical techniques for larger and clearer eyes, know-how for creating various eyelid lines to match the latest trends, and which surgical combinations to apply for eyes that appear fierce.
The APS 2024 conference was not merely a platform for presenting isolated surgical methods but a more advanced academic event that focused on presenting methods for combining the latest eyelid surgery techniques, commonly used in actual clinical practice, in various ways to meet patient demands based on their eye condition, aligning with the current state of the plastic surgery market. It garnered significant attention from numerous domestic and international medical professionals and media even before its opening.
Chief Director Do Eon-rok attended APS 2024 for the second time, following his participation in APS 2021. In addition, he consistently engages in various academic exchange activities, such as demonstrating live eyelid surgery to domestic and international plastic surgeons at the PRS KOREA 2023 International Conference of the Korean Society of Plastic Surgeons.
After successfully concluding his presentation at the APS 2024 conference, Chief Director Do Eon-rok stated, ‘It is an honor to attend the APS conference again this year, following the 2021 APS conference.’ He added, ‘All medical staff at 1mm Plastic Surgery will strive to achieve highly satisfactory surgical results not only in eyelid surgery but also in various other areas such as nose surgery and lifting, using 1mm Plastic Surgery's specialized techniques that comprehensively consider patient needs and the latest trends.’
